ÄÛ²ÝÓ°Ôº at The Spine, our new home in the north, now offers an exclusive lounge for members and fellows. Situated on the ninth floor, the space has impressive views of Liverpool and beyond, free Wi-Fi, a coffee machine and access to charging points.
Dr Cathryn Edwards said ‘‘The Spine offers an informal membership lounge for ÄÛ²ÝÓ°Ôº members and fellows. Its corner position on the first floor of the building has great views over Liverpool and it’s an ideal space to meet with colleagues, grab a coffee and have some downtime. For those who need internet connection and some quiet time to catch up on emails, there are lots of comfortable spaces to sit and work. I really love the atmosphere and hope colleagues from local hospitals will too.’’
The Members and Fellows Lounge is open 7am–7pm on weekdays. To access the space, pre-booking isn’t necessary, but your ÄÛ²ÝÓ°Ôº code and name will need to be left at the reception desk on the ground floor in exchange for a temporary access card.
We plan to carry out some research into improving the space for members at the ÄÛ²ÝÓ°Ôº at Regent’s Park in London.
